About 16 students have not done the homework in the LMS on
(AskNLearn portal: lms.asknlearn.com). All deadlines are extended.
If you can't find the quizzes on the Home page, please go to the History page.
The recording of your child's reading in LMS has also been extended to 4 April 2011.

Reading Accuracy Practice

Dear Parents,

I believe you have received Term 2 English Language Holistic Assessment letter. On 28 April 2011, your child will be recording their reading in the computer lab. If you want your child to practise recording their reading in LMS (AskNLearn), you may do it. I've asked the ICT administrator to extend the access to 1 April 2011 till 23.55.

Notes: A microphone is needed to be plugged into the computer.

Class Photo

We are going to take our class photo on 28 March 11. Please wear the school uniform and not the PE attire.

Smart Card

Dear Parents,

Our school library accepts the photocopied smart card. That is to say that your child can use the photocopied smart card for borrowing school library books. Please ensure that you photocopy the front side of the card because the barcode is needed.

I have corrected some errors. For those students who got correct answer but the system showed wrong, you could do the quiz again.

Show and Tell Session: General Feedback

On the whole, most of them in 1A has done well.

Being their 1st time, I am glad that about 90% of them have shown "Meeting/Exceeding Expectation".  And I am especially proud of those students who are normally quiet in class but can do the presentation well.

For each Show-and-Tell session, I look at their
1) Content Knowledge
2) Vocal Skills
3) Non-vocal Skills

Reading Aloud Topical Review

There will be a Reading Aloud practice this coming Monday. It is ungraded this time. Students will be given a passage to read aloud. Their reading will be recorded using the computer.

Note: The passage will not have words that they have not learned.
