From Now to End December ...

Dear Parents,

The year has come to an end. I would like to thank you for your support in your child’s education.

Parents play an important role in influencing the child’s ability to excel in his/her work. Therefore, parents’ supervision is vital in maximising his/her learning. I would like to seek your cooperation in ensuring that your child does the holiday homework.

Holiday homework for the preparation of Primary 2:

·         Read 7 thin storybooks (or 3 thick storybooks) and write book reviews in the LMS Forum
(Stories are read to you: http://wtpsoh.blogspot.sg/2012_06_01_archive.html)

·         Learn Spelling (Pick 20 words from your storybooks and parent should test your child based on the selected words).

·         Record the spelling words in LMS Forum
Record the words in the Word Bank book too

·         Complete the Stellar Handwriting book if you have not
·         Revise Numbers up to 100 (Addition and Subtraction)
·         Learn multiplication tables of 2, 3 and 4

Notes:
·         The Individual Writing exercise book and the Grammar book are kept in school for Primary 2.
·         The returned Social Studies Folio/File is to be kept for Primary 2.
Keep the Word Bank book for Primary 2 and 3.
·         Check for the unused exercise books before purchasing exercise books for Primary 2.

Thanks,
